This is not your "normal" riding holiday, this is a unique learning experience aimed at dedicated equestrian students..
We are operate in a practical working environment and students have the opportunity to become involved in all facets of horse riding, training and daily stud procedures. This is where we differ from the normal riding holiday, you come here to learn and be immersed in the workings of the stud and all that entails. While we expect you to have fun and enjoy the experience, including the extra curricular activities that are available, this is not a luxury, comfort catered for holiday, where all your needs are met. You are here to learn, this holiday riding experience is for the dedicated student who is committed to their on-going training and development.

Attractions
The Great Southern region of Western Australia has many unique and wonderful attractions. Famous for its vineyards, history, scenic attractions, flora and fauna (including unique wildflowers), and genuine country hospitality. This region has a lot to offer.

Accommodation
Visitors can stay in the purpose built annex located in a secluded and private area not far from the main house. The rooms are functional and simply appointed with own bedrooms, and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. There is also the option of staying nearby either in Cranbrook at the local B & Bs, hotel or caravan park. THere is a variety of other options a further away. Other accommodation requirements can be discussed prior to arrival.
Travel
You can:
- Fly into Perth and hire a car, travel down and include some sightseeing on the way, then you will have transport to use while at Yardah.
- Fly to Albany and hire a car or be met there (for a fee).
- Fly to Perth and catch a bus to Cranbrook (daily service). Click here for info on Transwa

Job Opportunities
Classical Horsemastership students are in demand from employers around the world for their knowledge, competency and dedication to the handling and on-going training of horses. Needless to say it doesn't matter how much knowledge and competency a person has, they must also possess physical stamina, work ethic and the ability to apply common sense in different situations.
Holiday Duration
Generally we would recommend a minimum of eight to ten days, plus a stud orientation day, enough time to recover from jetlag, and inclusion of a clinic. Ideally we would like to see you for around one month.
